For more than 25 years the Walter and Duncan Gordon Foundation has invested over $17 million in empowering Canada’s North. In this period of rapid change and intensifying interest in the Arctic, the Foundation aims to ensure that:

• All northern citizens are involved in forming public policy at local, regional, national and international levels;
• There is broader public understanding of policy issues that affect the North.

The Gordon Foundation’s commitment to the North covers three distinct areas:

• Small Change Fund – North of 55 Fund
