Carolyn joined The Gordon Foundation in 2012 and is currently the President and CEO. Previously, Carolyn was Executive Director of the Water Program where she worked with partners across sectors in Canada. This work focused on improving freshwater stewardship through citizen engagement in decision-making and the use of the best available evidence. Carolyn is a passionate advocate for open data and has led the development of DataStream, an online system that provides access to information about water quality.

Carolyn holds a BSc in Biology from Mount Allison University and a Master’s in Environmental Management from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
