Steven joined The Gordon Foundation in 2021 as the Learning and Engagement Coordinator. In this role, he supports the Foundation’s northern programming.

Born in Calgary and living on Treaty 7 territory, he is also a member of the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3. Steven first completed his BA with a concentration in history at St. Mary’s University and thereafter completed his BEd. Steven has taught primary and secondary education and coached within his local community. Steven attended the National Round Table for the Truth and Reconciliation commission of Canada and was a program assistant for Igniting the Fire: Storying the Urban Warrior at St. Mary’s University. Steven is passionate about exploring the outdoors and is a strong advocate for conservation and environmental stewardship.
