This study provides an empirical perspective on issues related to Arctic security, environment, and economy. building on a study conducted in 2010, entitled Rethinking the Top of the World: Arctic Security Public Opinion Survey, this report examines how the Arctic is understood by the public, factors that contribute to public understanding, and solicits preferences and principles to consider in both public policy and private sector decision-making.
